Good to be involved in something worthwhile – today we livestreamed a press conference on behalf of the Office of President Nasheed of the Maldives; his international legal team, including Amal Clooney, were announcing the recent UN WGAD opinion about President Nasheed’s imprisonment by political opponents in the Maldives.
Clearly the imprisonment is wrong – our team were surprised to hear that Cherie Blair is representing the Maldives government who imprisoned Nasheed and hundreds of his pro-democracy supporters.
