WHAT IT IS: Our Web TV solution is a web video player, a video website template that makes streaming video hosting simple.
WHAT IT DOES FOR YOU: This is a low cost, web video player that enables the presentation of multiple videos on your website - it lets you create a video website, with no work. All you have to do is add a few lines of code - that we give you - to your page. Adverts or slides can be timed to appear in the right-hand column, at defined points in any video; these are clickable, opening target web pages. You'll also have full statistical reports (see below). The player above is one of many video website templates that we can customise; all can include your branding.
HOW IT WORKS: As you see in our showreel example above, your videos are organised into categories, or channels (the left column). Click a channel to display thumbnails of the videos in that channel, click the thumbnails to play the video. Once uploaded, each video has its own URL, so can also be embedded in any other web page. However many videos you have, we can quickly and easily create an elegant web video player - which you simply paste into your website (or as a pop up) or email a link to.

FAQ:WON'T THIS MEAN HUGE WORK FOR MY WEB TEAM?
NO!! Our Web TV player is a Web 2.0 application which generates a small piece of html code that is simply pasted into your site. You can design a page around it, but to have it appear on your site takes only a few minutes..
WHAT WILL IT COST?
We offer packages which vary with storage - quantity of video uploaded, and bandwidth - number of views your videos get. Packages are charged on a monthly basis (3 month minimum). WHERE ARE THE VIDEOS HOSTED - IS IT A ROBUST SYSTEM?
As a streaming video provider, we are working with Akamai; with over 1 million active video streams, and tens of billions of web interactions daily, Akamai is the world’s leading content delivery network (CDN), so you can be sure that your streams are crisp, fast and reliable. Akamai is comprised of an “edge-of-the-Internet” network with more than 20,000 geographically dispersed media servers located in over 70 countries around the world.
WHAT VIDEO FORMATS CAN WE SUPPLY AS SOURCE FILES?
Currently our service provides for any commercially available media format, container or codec to ingest into the service as a "source digital file". This includes: FLV, H.264, 3GP, WMV, MP3, DVD or video tape.
WHAT IF THE END-USER HAS A SLOW BROADBAND CONNECTION?
The video player can utilize three different bite rate video encodings in order to cater to a greater number of users. In turn, each user is served with the best quality video allowed by the speed of their connection. Typically we encode at 100Kbps, 300Kbps and 500Kbps, but can also include a 250Kbps or 750Kbps version.
CAN WE HOST THE VIDEOS ON OUR OWN SERVER, OR YOUTUBE?
To harness the benefits of our customisable, low-cost, template-based offer, your streaming videos must be hosted on our Akamai servers.
If video is hosted on a normal - non-streaming - server, it will require bandwidth from the network; if you and your collegues are busy, video playback can suffer - particularly if you have concurrent viewers. The converse is true - video usage will make large bandwidth demands of a normal - non-streaming - server, and your connectivity will suffer.
But while we do need to host your videos ourselves for Your Web TV, we can also encode and provide your videos for upload to other services, such as YouTube, giving you an extra possibility for ROI.

STATISTICAL REPORTS:Would you like to know where your audience is? Our statistical reporting tool shows country and other relevant usage data. There are over 35 metrics reported and displayed in a graphic format that show trends and patterns of the video, a combination of videos, or the entire video library.
