I’ve just completed this new charity video for The Mulberry Centre -  a drop-in centre at the West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth, for anyone affected by a diagnosis of cancer to visit for information and support. An excellent charity; hopefully this video will encourage more people to visit.

What a great autocue delivery by Judi Stewart of The Mulberry Centre – she did it in one, first time!

We’re making a pro bono awareness video for the Centre, which helps people diagnosed with cancer, their family and carers – a great local charity supported by The Bedford Park Festival, for whom we’re also producing this year’s promo video.

Really pleased today with our lighting setup, filming more healthcare professionals describing their experiences of the use of Duodopa for Parkinson’s patients.

Today we used one of our KinoFlo Divas as key – simply the best daylight key I have ever used – with KinoFlo BarFly with 90 degree louvre and Lee 216 diffusion as fill, and the consulting room’s own spotlight as a backlight.

The set up brought the interviewee nicely away from the background – looked great.

Braving the chill winds and driving snow of Chiswick, we battled our way to the house we shoot many of our videos in that need a clean, fresh home environment.

Today’s shoot was to film additional material for a product training video explaining how to self inject Nplate from Amgen.

Tanya Teasdale-Brown delivered a sterling performance today: I was filming her talking about Pluswipes’ relationship with HSBC for our client Editions Financial.

The IAM – Institute of Advanced Motorists – is, like us, based in Chiswick, and approached us last week with an urgent need for DVD production. The content had already been produced, but the IAM wasn’t satisfied with the functionality of the DVD that had been supplied, and asked us to create an interactive DVD that guides the user through various scenarios and outcomes.

The result is a DVD with over 50 menu screens – it’s been one of our more complex and satisfying discs to author, and turned around in just 2 days.

Today Andrew is in Paris filming research for Disney while Nathan and I are at Kempton Park Racecourse filming a communication workshop for one of our favourite clients, Threshold Communications.

Threshold use drama, interactive theatre and psychological techniques to help employees communicate better – and I have to say the result is a really fluid, upbeat session where attendees really enjoy themselves and of course therefore learn better.

Good news today – we’ve been commissioned by Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust to produce a Maternity Tour Video of the East Surrey Hospital maternity ward.

Much of our current work is healthcare-related, for the NHS and other healthcare agencies; we’re working with ICC Lowe on a new product demo film and closely with NHS Barnet Clinical Commissioning Group / NHS North Central London on various projects – more later.

Just had another great shoot with actor Charles Armstrong: shooting greenscreen here in our Chiswick studio, Charles delivered his usual flawless Autocue reading, making editing his pieces to camera such a joy.

We’re making a series of web videos for client Openera Systems; Charles’ greenscreen PTCs will be composited over video, stills and graphics.

Had an enjoyable shoot today filming Charles Morgan, MD of Morgan Motor Company in Malvern.

The film will be one of a web video series we’re producing for Editions Financial – their client is HSBC; like the other business owners in the series Charles was talking about the benefits of his company’s relationship with the bank.
